Best travel MCP servers in 2026: flights and hotels, compared
Published October 6, 2026
Short answer: for a free flights MCP with no key, Kiwi.com's; for free hotel search,
trivago's; for Google Flights, Booking.com, Google Hotels and Airbnb behind one key,
HasData's; for something you run yourself, fli. Mine, FlightPowers, prices a whole date
range and a round trip in one call on live Google Flights fares, with Google's own
low / typical / high band, plus live Booking.com rates. I read all eleven servers below on
2026-10-06 from their own pages, READMEs or a live tools/list, and every figure
carries that date.
I build FlightPowers, so read entry 10 as a vendor describing his own product. The order is not a ranking: the two free, no-key servers from big travel brands come first because they are the fastest way to see what a travel MCP does, and the table is the comparison.
The table
Read 2026-10-06, 19:45 to 20:00 UTC. "Not documented" means I did not find it on the pages I read, not that it cannot exist.
| # | Server | Covers | Data from | Sign-in | Free path | Paid entry | Date range in one call | Round trip | Price band |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Kiwi.com MCP | flights | Kiwi.com | none asked | free, no key | none published | yes | one call | not documented |

| 3 | HasData | flights, hotels, Airbnb | Google Flights, Booking.com, Google Hotels, Airbnb | key or OAuth | 1,000 credits a month (about 66 flight searches) | $59 a month for 200,000 credits | no, one date | two calls | yes |
| 4 | Ignav | flights | not named on its pages | OAuth or key | 1,000 requests, once | $2 per 1,000 successful requests | not documented | one call | not documented |
| 5 | SerpApi MCP | flights, hotels and much more | SerpApi's Google Flights and Google Hotels engines | key | a free plan on its pricing page | their cheapest plan is $25 for 1,000 | no, one date | two calls | yes |
| 6 | flight-mcp.com | flights | providers not named | key | 300 calls a month; cached data with no key | $19 for 10,000 calls | no, one date | one call | not documented |

| 9 | flights-mcp | flights | Duffel | you run it, Duffel key | code free, MIT | Duffel's own pricing | yes, slower | one call | not documented |
| 10 | FlightPowers (mine) | flights, hotels | Google Flights, Booking.com | Google sign-in or RapidAPI key | free with ads, 50 searches a day | $10 for 2,500 flight searches | yes, flights and hotels | one call | yes |

"Price band" means Google's own historical range for the route with a low / typical / high verdict, the field that tells you whether a fare is a good one. "Round trip: two calls" means the server's own docs say the return leg is a second request.
1. Kiwi.com MCP: free flight search, no key
Kiwi.com runs it at https://mcp.kiwi.com (it reports itself as kiwicom-flight-search).
On 2026-10-06 it answered initialize and tools/list with no key at all and listed two
tools: search-flight and feedback-to-devs.
search-flight is flexible on dates. It takes city or
airport names, an explicit departure range (departureDate to departureDateTo) or plus and
minus days, a return range or a nights-at-destination range (nights_in_dst_from /
nights_in_dst_to), bags per traveller, stopover airports and countries, and whether
self-transfer tickets are allowed. Each itinerary comes back with a price, the legs, the
included baggage and a bookingUrl.
What it does not carry, in the result shape its own tool description documents: a historical price range or a verdict. The results are Kiwi.com's own search.
Best for: a free, no-setup flights tool in Claude when Kiwi.com's inventory and its self-transfer routes are what you want.
2. trivago MCP: free hotel metasearch, no key
trivago runs it at https://mcp.trivago.com/mcp, and its own page says "free, no API key".
On 2026-10-06 tools/list returned three tools: trivago-accommodation-search (by
destination or point of interest), trivago-accommodation-radius-search (near coordinates)
and trivago-destination-price-trends, which forecasts monthly nightly rates for a
destination; its own description calls it "a forecasting tool, not a live-availability
search".
The search tools take one stay per call (arrival and departure), guests and rooms, star and
review filters, and a country code that "determines market-specific pricing".
Best for: a free hotel search in Claude or ChatGPT across many booking sites at once.
3. HasData: four travel sources behind one key
HasData runs one hosted server, https://mcp.hasdata.com/mcp, and an ?apis= parameter
picks the tools: google_travel_flights for flights, booking for Booking.com,
google_travel adds Google Hotels, and airbnb adds Airbnb. Drop the parameter and its
README says the same endpoint exposes all 57 HasData tools. Auth is an x-api-key header,
or OAuth for clients that support it.
The flights tool returns Google's priceInsights with a lowest price, a typical range and a
price level, and carbon figures per itinerary. A search takes one outboundDate, and its
README says "A round trip is two calls, so budget for it."
Price, from the READMEs and hasdata.com/prices: 1,000 free credits every month, no card;
a flight search is 15 credits (about 66 a month free) and a Booking.com call is 10 (about
100). The Startup plan is $59 a month for 200,000 credits.
Best for: Google Flights with the price band plus three stay sources on one key, if one date per search is fine.
4. Ignav: a flights API with a hosted MCP
Ignav runs https://ignav.com/mcp with two tools, search_airports and search_flights
(one-way and round trip), and every itinerary carries a booking_url to an airline or
agency page. Cloud clients sign in with OAuth; local ones send an API key.
Price, from ignav.com/pricing: 1,000 free requests once, then $2 per 1,000 successful
requests, and only successful requests are billed. Its pages do not name where the fares
come from, and I found no price band or date range documented for the MCP tool.
Best for: pay-as-you-go flight search with booking links and no monthly plan.
5. SerpApi MCP: Google Flights and Google Hotels inside a general search tool
SerpApi runs https://mcp.serpapi.com/mcp with one search tool that reaches every SerpApi
engine, Google Flights and Google Hotels among them, plus opt-in table and dashboard tools
for hosts that render MCP Apps. Its README says no key is needed to connect or list tools;
search needs one.
Through the Google Flights engine you get Google's price_insights (lowest price, price
level, typical range). One search takes one outbound_date, and SerpApi's own docs say the
return leg of a round trip is "another request using a departure_token".
Price: their cheapest plan is $25 for 1,000 searches, and a free plan is listed on the same pricing page.
Best for: teams that already use SerpApi for other engines and want travel in the same tool.
6. flight-mcp.com: flights with a cache you choose
flight-mcp.com serves one search contract over REST and MCP (https://flight-mcp.com/mcp,
a bearer key). A request sets how old a cached answer may be, from 60 seconds to 3 days,
and cache hits do not count against the plan. An "Open Cache" mode, over REST and MCP,
needs no account and returns only data that is already cached.
A search takes one departureDate and an optional returnDate, so a round trip is one
call. Its page names no providers ("every enabled provider"). Price, from
flight-mcp.com/pricing: Free with 300 calls a month, Lite $19 for 10,000, Pro $49 for
30,000.
Best for: an agent that asks the same routes again and again and can live with a cached answer.
7. StayingAPI: Airbnb, Booking.com, Vrbo and Google Hotels in one schema
StayingAPI runs https://mcp.stayingapi.com/mcp with seven read-only tools that map to its
REST endpoints, among them search_stays, check_availability (day by day over a date
range for known listings), get_price and compare_prices (one property across platforms).
Sign-in is OAuth 2.1 with PKCE.
Price, from stayingapi.com/pricing: 300 free credits once, valid 90 days; Starter is $19 a
month for 1,900 credits; a compare_prices call is 30 credits, and failed or empty calls
are free.
Best for: stays across the big platforms, including vacation rentals, in one schema.
8. fli: open source, run it yourself
punitarani/fli (3,209 stars on 2026-10-06, MIT) is a Python library and CLI for Google
Flights with an MCP server included: pipx install flights, then fli-mcp over stdio or
fli-mcp-http locally. Its README says it talks to Google Flights' internal API rather
than scraping pages.
Two tools: search_flights for one date and search_dates for the cheapest dates across a
range, with a trip duration for round trips. Its README says a round trip costs "1 + top_n
page fetches". No price band is documented. It costs nothing, and you run it and keep it
working.
Best for: developers who want Google Flights in a local assistant and are happy to host it.
9. flights-mcp (Duffel): a local server on Duffel's API
ravinahp/flights-mcp (231 stars, MIT, last commit 2025-06-11) runs locally and searches
Duffel's API: one-way, round trip and multi-city, plus a search across several days that
its README calls "slower". It needs a Duffel live key, which per its README means
verifying a Duffel account and adding payment details, though the server itself only
searches. A test key returns simulated data.
Best for: people who already have a Duffel account.
10. FlightPowers: mine
Two hosted servers. https://flights.flightpowers.com/mcp has search_oneway_flights and
search_roundtrip_flights on live Google Flights fares; https://hotels.flightpowers.com/mcp has
search_hotels, find_hotel_by_name and compare_hotel_rates on live Booking.com rates.
Add the URL, sign in with Google, and the first 10 searches each day are free; after that
the searches run on your own RapidAPI key.
What I built it around: one call takes a date range, a list of destinations and a list of
trip lengths, and the fares come back with Google's low / typical / high verdict and its
range.
A round trip comes back as one total with one booking link. On 2026-10-06 one call priced
six New York round trips to Lisbon and Barcelona across three departure days, billed 6
requests, and came back in about 4 seconds (the run). On the hotel
side, price_as_seen_from prices a stay as a shopper in another country would see it, and
a range of check-in dates prices several stays in one call.
Price: free with ads at free-trial.flightpowers.com/mcp (Google sign-in, 50
searches a day, 250 a month); on your key, BASIC is free with 10 a
month, and PRO is $10 for
2,500 flight searches or $10 for
2,000 hotel searches.
The cons, stated as plainly as the others: one-way and round trip only, no multi-city; the hotel side is Booking.com; a key means a RapidAPI account; and the free server shows one sponsored card per result.
Best for: fare tracking and date scans in an assistant, where "is this a good price" matters, plus hotel rates on the same sign-in. Setup pages: Google Flights MCP, hotel MCP.
11. Blue Pillow: hotel and stay prices from many sites, no signup
Blue Pillow runs https://mcp.b2a.bluepillow.com/ and its page reads "Live hotel & stay
prices from 16+ booking sites in one call. No signup. No login. Permanent key." The key is
generated in the browser on that page, and the limits it states are 120 requests a minute
and 60,000 a day. No price is published on the pages I read.
Best for: free hotel price comparison across many sites for an agent.
Pick by what you need
- Free, nothing to set up: Kiwi.com for flights, trivago for hotels.
- Google's price band on every fare: HasData, SerpApi or FlightPowers.
- A month of dates in one call: Kiwi.com, fli or FlightPowers.
- Flights and hotels together: HasData, SerpApi or FlightPowers.
- Vacation rentals: StayingAPI or HasData (Airbnb).
- Run it yourself: fli, or flights-mcp if you are on Duffel.
How I checked
Every entry was read on 2026-10-06 between 19:45 and 20:00 UTC: the vendor's own MCP page,
pricing page or README, GitHub's API for stars and last commit, and, for Kiwi.com and
trivago, an MCP initialize plus tools/list against the live server. I made no paid
calls to anyone else's server. My own run is on the flights MCP page
with its timestamp. If something here is out of date, the date on each line is the day it
was true.
Is there an MCP for flights?
Yes, several: Kiwi.com's is free with no key; HasData, Ignav, SerpApi and flight-mcp.com run hosted ones that need an account for live searches; fli and flights-mcp are open source servers you run yourself; and FlightPowers runs one on live Google Flights fares, free with ads or ad-free on your own key.
Is there a free travel MCP server?
Yes. Kiwi.com and trivago asked for no key on 2026-10-06, Blue Pillow issues a free anonymous key, fli is free to run yourself, and FlightPowers has a free ad-supported server with Google sign-in and 50 searches a day.
What is an MCP server for?
An MCP (Model Context Protocol) server gives an AI assistant tools it can call. A travel MCP lets Claude, Cursor or ChatGPT fetch real fares and room rates when you ask, instead of guessing from training data.
Which travel MCP covers both flights and hotels?
Of the eleven here: HasData (Google Flights, Booking.com, Google Hotels and Airbnb on one key), SerpApi (its Google Flights and Google Hotels engines through one tool) and FlightPowers (Google Flights and Booking.com, one server each).
Can a travel MCP book a flight or a hotel?
None of the eleven read here books. They return prices and a link to book on the airline, the agency or the hotel site.

Try two of them on the same question
Ask the same fare question through two servers and compare what comes back: the dates covered, the verdict, the cost of the call. Mine is free to try with a Google sign-in.
Free tier: 10 requests/month. No card to try.
